No More Excuses

September 2, 2013 by Long Pham

There is no more time for excuses. Don’t wait until tomorrow to change your life. Start today – the time for action is now.

If you’re reading this, you must have some interest in having financial freedom. Don’t make any excuses on why you can’t do it or why it won’t work for you. You just need to get started and you’ll find out that you’ve done it when you’ve done it.

I know you can do it because I am doing it right now. I haven’t reached financial freedom yet, but I have overcome the major obstacle – debt. I paid off more than $57,000 in debt in just under a year. The rest just takes a little discipline.

What are you waiting for? Let’s do this!

Dig Deep – A Review So Far

Remember why you work. Take a look at your lifestyle and you will know instantly if you’re working because you have to. Let’s change that.

Time is money. We only have a limited amount of time to live. It’s pretty much the only thing that we will never know how much we really have. Treat it like a valuable resource and use it wisely.

Money is time. Start thinking about money as a store of time. Money is worth something because it is a representation of how much time we spent earning it. Make sure your time is well spent.

Debt makes you a slave. If you owe someone money, you owe them part of your life. There is no such thing as good debt. All debt is bad debt.

You can earn your freedom by saving. Saving allows you to bank your time for future use. Saving also allows your money to work for you by earning interest. The more money you save, the more time you create for yourself (without working any harder).

What’s the point? Throw away the idealistic image of how you should live your life. We’re going to start over and make financial security our top priority.

Financial freedom is what we’re seeking. We want to be debt free and have enough to live a comfortable life now and later. Our goal is to be prepared for all contingencies over time.

Financial integrity takes courage. It is hard not to live up to the expectation of others. Peer pressure is toughest to conquer in its most subtle form. Honor your values and ethics by living your life realistically. Earn what you have.

What if you have a strong and beautiful future? Being positive will give you the energy it takes to deal with everything life throws at us. Prepare to be amazed at how awesome the future can be.

Finally, dig deep – no more excuses. Take action now and don’t stop until you’ve reached your goals. Be relentless. Don’t compromise. Don’t settle for anything less than a happy life.
